Your adventure begins in Bishkek, the vibrant capital city, where you’ll explore bustling markets, historic landmarks, and the picturesque Ala-Too Square. From Bishkek, head east to Karakol, a charming town nestled at the foot of the majestic Terskey Alatau Mountains. Along the way, stop at Burana Tower, an ancient Silk Road site that dates back to the 10th century, where you can explore the remains of an old minaret, castle, and warrior cemetery.

As you journey on, head to Altyn Arashan, a pristine alpine valley known for its natural hot springs. We go on a city tour of Bishkek - Ala Too square, Panfilov park, the Historical museum. Today, we embark on a journey to Issyk-Kul Lake, one of the largest lakes in Kyrgyzstan. En route, we stop at the historic Burana Tower complex, an important Silk Road landmark dating back to the 10th century. Here, you’ll see the minaret, remnants of an ancient castle, and a warrior cemetery. Afterward, we continue our drive to Karakol, passing through the picturesque Grigorevka and Semenovka valleys, known for their snow-capped mountains, lush forests, and flowing rivers. Upon arrival in Karakol, we’ll visit the unique Dungan Mosque and Holy Trinity Church, two significant architectural landmarks that reflect the town’s cultural diversity. Total driving time: 8 hours.

Upon arrival, enjoy a soothing soak in the natural hot springs, surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery. The area offers spectacular views, including the always snow-covered Palatka Peak.

The tour starts and ends in Bishkek. You should arrive and depart at Manas International Airport (Code: FRU).

There are no activities scheduled for the first day. The standard check-in time at the hotel would be 1400 hrs, and you can plan your arrival accordingly.

You can depart anytime. Generally, there are no inclusions on the tour on the last day. The hotel check-out time is usually 11:00 hrs or 12 noon.

Children under 12 are not allowed on this Jrny. Children above 12 are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Normally, yes! In some cases if the exact hotels are unavailable for any reason, we'll make sure you're put up in hotels that are equivalent to the original in terms of location and facilities. Rest assured, your stay will be as promised. Please note, The accommodations in yurts and homestays will be basic stays, with shared rooms and common toilets.

Please read through the itinerary in detail to understand the intensity of the activities planned. Overall for the tour on a scale from 1 - 5, a fitness level of 2 would be ideal.

Please refer to the daily activities in the itinerary, where the driving distance and duration for each day are given. The longest drive on this tour is approx 5-6 hrs.

Vegetarian options will be available, but might be somewhat limited. The same is true for vegan options.

Kyrgyzstan experiences a continental climate with diverse weather patterns due to its mountainous terrain. Summers are warm and dry, especially in the lowland areas, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 35°C (77°F to 95°F). In the high-altitude regions, such as Issyk-Kul Lake and Altyn Arashan, temperatures are cooler, even in summer. Winters are cold, with temperatures often dropping below freezing, especially in the mountains, where snowfall is common. The spring and autumn seasons offer mild and pleasant weather, making them ideal times for outdoor activities and exploration.

We require a 35% advance payment at the time of booking.

The remaining balance needs to be paid in full at least 75 days before the date of travel.

Cancellation up to 91 days from the date of travel: 10% cancellation charges (as per the total trip cost) will be levied, the rest will be refunded to you.

From 90 - 46 days from the date of travel: 30% cancellation charges will be levied

45 days or less from the date of travel: 100% cancellation charges will be levied.
