Begin the day with breakfast at your hotel in New Delhi, then set out to explore the city. Start with a visit to Humayun's Tomb, followed by a drive to Old Delhi. Hop on a cycle rickshaw to experience the vibrant streets, stopping at Jama Masjid, and passing the Red Fort and Raj Ghat. Enjoy a street food walk in Chandni Chowk with a guide, savoring local specialties like Chhola-Kulcha, Mughlai dishes, paratha, kebabs, jalebi, and lassi.

Pause for a light lunch at Moti Mahal Deluxe to sample Butter Chicken and Dal Makhni. Next, head to New Delhi, beginning with a visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, where you’ll see the kitchen that serves over 10,000 meals daily as part of Sikh 'Seva.' Continue to the Gandhi Museum, then drive past India Gate and government buildings.

When we visit New Delhi, we start with the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib—one of the most prominent Sikh temples that feeds more than 10,000 people every day, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, or religion. We will get to see the kitchen and the service. This is an integral part of ‘Seva’ or service, which is part of the Sikh faith. We then visit the Gandhi museum and drive past the Government buildings and India Gate.

Day 3

Delhi to Agra by Train

Begin the day with breakfast at your hotel in New Delhi before transferring to the railway station. Board the Gatiman Express for a scenic train ride from Delhi to Agra (08:10 - 09:50 hrs). Upon arrival, visit the Agra Fort, a grand Mughal fort by the Yamuna River made of red and white marble.

After lunch at your hotel, explore the iconic Taj Mahal with a guide who will reveal its architectural brilliance, stunning inlay work, and intricate marble details. End the day with a Mughlai thali dinner at your Agra hotel, featuring classic dishes like Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Kebabs, and biryani, with Kathak dancers providing traditional entertainment.

From October to March, afternoons are pleasant and evenings can be a bit chilly. So carry a few layers including a light jacket and a sweater. Summer sets at the end of March in central India. Daytime will be warm and sunny. Night time is nice and cool. So lightweight and breathable clothing is advisable due to the often hot and humid weather. April to September is a hot summer, light cottonwear is the best for the summer. Don't forget essentials like sunscreen, insect repellent, and comfortable walking shoes. This is a casual tour, so no dress restrictions, but once in a while you might want to dress for a nice dinner. Entirely up to you. Please make sure you pack your yoga clothes as well.
