Montenegro has a Mediterranean climate along the coast and a continental climate inland. During spring and early summer, the weather is pleasant and ideal for travelling. Daytime temperatures range from around 18°C (64°F) in April to 26°C (79°F) in June. Evenings can be cooler, especially in the mountains, so carrying a light jacket is recommended.
