From October to March, afternoons are pleasant and evenings can be a bit chilly. So carry a few layers including a light jacket and a sweater. Summer starts at the end of March in South India. Daytime will be pleasant and sunny. Night time is nice and cool. So lightweight and breathable clothing is advisable due to the often hot and humid weather. April to September is a hot summer, light cottons are the best for the summer. Don't forget essentials like sunscreen, insect repellent, and comfortable walking shoes. This is a casual tour, so no dress restrictions, but once in a while you might want to dress for a nice dinner. Please make sure you pack your yoga clothes as well.
