You can depart anytime. Generally, there are no inclusions on the tour on the last day. The hotel check-out time is usually 1100 hours or 1200 hours.

Yes, there are some overland drives, especially between Roman sites and airports. The longest drive is approximately 5–6 hours including sightseeing stops. However, several internal flights are included to reduce overall travel time.
