As a JrnyMaestro, your role is to unite everyone, acting as the catalyst for excitement and community engagement. While you won’t be acting as a tour guide, each Jrny will come with a knowledgeable local guide. Your primary tasks involve igniting enthusiasm within your community, rallying them to join the journey once it launches, and establishing the tone for the adventure ahead.
Upon registration with JrnyOn, your initial task is to conduct a survey among your audience to gauge their preferences regarding destinations, budgets, and optimal travel times. We suggest aiming for a minimum of 100 survey responses. Subsequently, you’ll collaborate with JrnyOn to curate the ideal itinerary, refining and launching it to your community. Your ongoing role revolves around fuelling excitement and encouraging sign-ups among your fellow travellers.
Rest assured, JrnyOn will provide unwavering support at every stage, offering resources and sharing best practices to ensure your journey & success.
As a JrnyMaestro, you'll receive a share of the Jrny revenue as compensation. That's right, you're essentially getting paid to travel with your community. Your package includes everything listed on the itinerary for you (and you can bring along a friend if you wish). Additionally, if required we can provide the Maestros with an advance to assist with airfare expenses.
The exact earnings Maestros make can differ as depending on your community, you can set up your margins. On average, for a 4-day Jrny Maestros can earn around £2,000 / $2400 / ₹2000. However, we empower Creators to determine their earnings by pricing their Jrnys, though we recommend setting prices that align with your community's budget.
While there isn't a one-size-fits-all formula for what constitutes an exceptional JrnyMaestro. Typically, the key to selling out a Jrny lies in the size and engagement of your audience (we've found that genuine, relatable Creators tend to excel in this regard).
In terms of collaborating with JrnyOn, we often see Creators with the following follower counts -
- Instagram: 10,000+
- YouTube: 15,000+
- Private community (own whatsapp or other offline modes): 100+
