About this Jrny

This immersive journey through Egypt begins with your arrival in Cairo, where you’ll be greeted and assisted through airport formalities before settling into the luxurious Ramses Hilton Hotel. The first full day of exploration takes you to the iconic Egyptian Museum, home to countless ancient treasures, including King Tutankhamun’s artifacts. Later, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, marveling at the engineering and legacy of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The adventure continues as you fly to Luxor, where you’ll explore the grand Karnak and Luxor Temples, symbolic of Egypt’s ancient religious devotion. Aboard a Nile cruise, you’ll sail down the majestic river, visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of great pharaohs lie hidden, and the impressive Hatshepsut Temple. As the cruise sails towards Edfu, you’ll relax and witness the passing Egyptian countryside.

The next day begins with a visit to the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu, reached by horse carriage, followed by a stop at Kom Ombo, a dual temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Aswan awaits with its serene Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis, and a scenic felucca ride along the Nile. After soaking in Aswan's beauty, you’ll fly back to Cairo for a final night at the Intercontinental City Stars, a modern hotel connected to one of Cairo's largest shopping malls, perfect for last-minute souvenir shopping. The tour starts and ends in Cairo, So you should arrive and depart from Cairo International Airport (CAI).

Ensure a smooth journey through Egypt by checking visa requirements, with most travellers needing a visa for entry. You can obtain it upon arrival or apply for an e-Visa before your trip.

There are no activities scheduled on Day 1 of the trip. So you can arrive anytime. Hotel check-in time varies and generally will be around 2:00 pm.

You can depart anytime. Generally, there are no inclusions on the tour on the last day. The hotel check-out time is usually 11 am or 12 noon.

Absolutely, please rest assured. From flavorful vegetarian dishes deeply rooted in local culinary traditions to specially curated menus, we ensure a delightful array of vegetarian choices on all our tours.

Overall for the tour on a scale from 1 - 5, a fitness level of 2 would be ideal for this trip.

For travel in Egypt from November to February, please carry all the Winter essentials (Jackets with Hoodies, Sweaters Turtlenecks, Warm gloves & Pants etc. LAYERING is a great way. If you trap air in several layers of clothing, you have a better chance of staying warm than if you wear one or two very heavy items. For the rest of the summer, casual adaptable clothing as per your comfort is good. There are restaurants in Egypt, where you might enjoy dressing up a bit. So adding some nice evening wear to your travel wardrobe is a nice idea. Don't forget essentials like sunglasses, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle and comfortable walking shoes.
