After breakfast, set off for the Karas Region in southern Namibia, a landscape of vast plains and rugged beauty. Upon arrival, check in at the Quiver Tree Forest Restcamp, your gateway to one of Namibia's most unique natural wonders.

The Quiver Tree Forest is a designated national monument, home to approximately 250 specimens of Aloidendron dichotomum, commonly known as quiver trees for their branches' traditional use in making quivers for arrows by the San people. These distinctive trees, with their golden bark and crown-like clusters of leaves, can live for centuries and are perfectly adapted to the harsh desert conditions. Yes, Namibia’s landscapes are vast, so there will be some long drives. The longest drive is from Windhoek to Keetmanshoop, which may take 7 hours depending on road conditions. However, stops at scenic and cultural sites will break up the journey.

Vegetarian options will be available, but might be somewhat limited. The same is true for vegan options

Namibia has a dry climate with warm days and cool nights. Depending on the season, temperatures can vary: Winter (May - September): Cool mornings and evenings, with daytime temperatures around 20-25°C.
