About this Jrny

Rajasthan has always been a hot spot for travel enthusiasts across the world. But have you ever been on a culinary adventure to uncover this vibrant state through its regional cuisines and diverse food customs?

Welcome to our Jodhpur to Jaisalmer JRNY—the first trip of our Culinary India series—in collaboration with ChefTZac and The Locavore. This 6-day immersive itinerary is meticulously crafted to spark your curiosity about Rajasthan's regional culinary delights (beyond Laal Maas and Ker Sangri) and introduce you to its wide-ranging food traditions, as well as the communities who are the custodians of these gastronomic treasures.

Think of this trip as a cultural and culinary expedition across the stunning landscapes of Rajasthan, starting with the ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur, where we’ll explore its azure-coloured architecture, the Mehrangarh Fort, and cuisine that celebrates the region’s eclectic spice traditions. Then, we’ll head to the Dhora Desert Camp in the Thar Desert, and finally, wander through Jaisalmer, the ‘Golden City,’ where bustling streets and mediaeval forts tell stories of a time gone by.

The three destinations on this journey will lead you to discover Rajasthan through the lens of its local culinary heritage, along with the state’s rich cultural history and folklore. Come, experience Rajasthan with us!
