Begin your day with a guided city tour including a visit to Stockholm City Hall, an impressive edifice built in the early 20th century. This is the world renowned site of the annual Nobel Prize awards banquet.
Visit the Vasa Museum, home to the only remaining intact 17th century ship in the world. Built in 1628, the Vasa sank on its maiden voyage. Also visit Skansen, the world’s first open air-museum, founded in 1891. Stroll through five centuries of Swedish history, from north to south, with a real sense of the past all around in the historical buildings and dwellings, peopled by characters in period dress. Return to the hotel by late afternoon.

The tour starts in Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) and departs from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL).

There are no activities scheduled on Day 1 of the trip. So you can arrive anytime. Hotel check-in time varies and generally will be around 2:00 pm.

Normally, yes! In some cases if the exact hotels are unavailable for any reason, we'll make sure you're put up in hotels that are equivalent to the original in terms of location and facilities. Rest assured, your stay will be as promised.

While the itinerary involves a overnight train from Stockholm to Jukkasjärv, potentially covering a significant distance. There is a long drive from Jukkasjärvi to Inari and takes around 5-6 hours to drive depending on road conditions and traffic. However, driving between Saariselka and Rovaniemi, both situated in Finnish Lapland, may is relatively shorter. Travellers should verify the specific transportation modes and durations with the tour organizer, ensuring they are well-prepared for any potential long drives during the tour.

The weather in Finland and Sweden is temperate, experiencing cold winters and mild summers. Inari and Rovaniemi, located in Finnish Lapland, have a subarctic climate with extremely cold winters, abundant snowfall, and short, mild summers. Travellers should be prepared for sub-zero temperatures and potential snowfall, especially during the winter months, and dress accordingly for a diverse range of weather conditions.
