Theory & pool session 1

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before transferring to the dive centre, where your scuba adventure begins with a detailed orientation. This session includes an instructional video and a brief classroom lesson covering the basics of scuba diving, safety protocols, and an introduction to the equipment you’ll be using.

A lunchbox meal is provided before heading to the pool, where you’ll have your first underwater experience. In this controlled environment, your instructor will guide you through using scuba gear, breathing through a regulator, and practicing essential diving skills to ensure you feel comfortable underwater. Return to your hotel after the introductory session.

As the evening unfolds, Tascha will take you on a tour of the vibrant nightlife of Bangla Road, the heart of Patong’s entertainment scene. With its neon lights, lively bars, and street performances, it’s a hub of excitement and energy. For a unique cultural experience, visit the Simon Cabaret Show, a dazzling performance featuring talented transgender artists, elaborate costumes, and exceptional choreography. Your day begins with a thorough orientation that covers the basics of scuba diving. Watch an instructional video and participate in a brief classroom session where your instructor will explain the key concepts of diving, safety procedures, and equipment.

Pool training: session 1

Following the orientation, head to a pool for your first underwater experience. During this session, your instructor will teach you how to use the scuba gear, practise essential diving skills such as breathing through a regulator, and ensure you feel comfortable underwater. First Day of Diving

Begin your day with breakfast before departing for the pier, where your dive boat awaits. Under expert guidance, complete two of your open-water dives in Phuket's tropical waters. Put your training into practice whilst discovering vibrant coral reefs and encountering fascinating marine life in their natural habitat. Tascha will capture your dive experience with stunning photos and videos, creating memories to last a lifetime.

Back at the hotel, the afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy. Whether you fancy exploring bustling local markets, unwinding with a traditional Thai massage, hunting for souvenirs, or simply relaxing on pristine beaches—the choice is yours.

After a hearty breakfast, transfer to the dive centre to kick off your second day of training. Start with Knowledge Review Sessions, diving deeper into essential principles and safety procedures. Following this, you’ll complete final quizzes and multiple-choice exams on dive theory and the Recreational Dive Planner, ensuring you’re well-prepared for upcoming practical sessions.
A lunchbox meal will be provided before the afternoon’s activities.

The focus then shifts to the pool for Confined Water Dive Sessions. Guided by your instructor, you’ll practice fundamental skills like buoyancy control, underwater navigation, and emergency ascent techniques. The session also includes a 10-minute float and a 200-meter swim assessment, boosting your confidence and stamina.

After the session, return to your hotel to relax before an evening sightseeing tour. Tascha will take you on a tour of the iconic Big Buddha, a 45-meter marble statue offering breathtaking panoramic views and a tranquil space for reflection. Followed by Wat Chalong, Phuket’s largest and most revered temple, showcasing stunning architecture and deep Buddhist traditions—a perfect way to immerse yourself in the island’s cultural and spiritual heritage.

After breakfast, transfer to the pier and board the dive boat for the final step in your diving journey.
Today, you complete your last two Open Water dives, showcasing all the skills you’ve learned throughout the course. Dive into breathtaking reefs teeming with marine life as you demonstrate your proficiency in essential techniques, marking the culmination of your training. Tascha will capture your dive experience with stunning photos and videos, creating memories to last a lifetime.

After the dives, return to complete any final paperwork and celebrate your achievement with a certification ceremony. Congratulations—you are now a certified PADI Open Water Diver, ready to embark on future underwater adventures with confidence!

Later in the day, return to your hotel, with free time to explore the local markets, unwind on the beach, enjoy a relaxing massage, or simply relax.

In the evening, commemorate your certification with a special farewell dinner. Share stories, swap photos, and celebrate with fellow travellers who have become lifelong friends during this unforgettable experience.

Yes, you should know how to swim and be comfortable in the water. To become a certified PADI Open Water Diver, you must be able to swim 200 meters without stopping, and float or tread water for 10 minutes.

The tour starts and ends in Phuket. You should arrive and depart from Phuket International Airport (Code: HKT).

All foreign travellers will require a valid passport. The passport should have a validity for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. Thailand is currently offering visa-free entry for Indian passport holders, but it is recommended to check the latest requirements on the official Embassy website. Travel insurance is mandatory to protect against loss of personal valuables, illness or unforeseen late cancellations. While suppliers make every effort to ensure guests' safety, we cannot be held responsible for events beyond our control.

Yes, airport transfers are included in this tour. These transfers will be shared with you before your travel.

There are no activities scheduled for the first day. The standard check-in time at the hotel would be 1400 hrs, and you can plan your arrival accordingly

It is recommended to have a gap of at least 18 hours between scuba diving and flying, so please book your return flights post 12 noon on the last day. The hotel check-out time is usually 11:00 hrs or 12 noon.

Children are not allowed on this Jrny.

Normally, yes! In some cases if the exact hotels are unavailable for any reason, we'll make sure you're put up in hotels that are equivalent to the original in terms of location and facilities. Rest assured, your stay will be as promised.

Please read through the itinerary in detail to understand the intensity of the activities planned. Overall for the tour on a scale from 1 - 5, a fitness level of 3 would be ideal. Additionally, you should be able to swim 200 metres.

Please refer to the daily activities in the itinerary, where the driving distance and duration for each day are given. The longest drive on this tour is approx 1.5 hrs to and from the airport.

Absolutely, a variety of vegetarian meal options will be available. Vegan options may be limited but available.

We try and cater to other diet restrictions as much as possible. But, we do focus on regional local cuisine so there will be limitations. Please write to [email protected] with your booking number in the subject line to inform us well in advance of any such restrictions.

From February to April, Phuket enjoys dry, sunny weather with warm temperatures ranging from 25°C to 34°C (77°F to 93°F). The calm seas and excellent visibility make it an ideal time for diving and beach activities.

We require a 35% advance payment at the time of booking.

The remaining balance needs to be paid in full at least 75 days before the date of travel.

Cancellation up to 91 days from the date of travel: 10% cancellation charges (as per the total trip cost) will be levied, the rest will be refunded to you

From 90 - 46 days from the date of travel: 30% cancellation charges will be levied

45 days or less from the date of travel: 100% cancellation charges will be levied.
