Yerevan Tour day

Start your day at the Temple of Garni, the only standing pagan temple in Armenia, built in the 1st century AD. This Greco-Roman gem, dedicated to the sun god Mihr, stands proudly on a cliff edge, offering a rare glimpse into Armenia’s pre-Christian past.

After exploring the site, descend into the Garni Gorge to see the Symphony of Stones—a natural wonder of basalt columns rising like the pipes of a giant organ. This geological formation feels almost sculpted by hand, a quiet showcase of nature’s artistry.

Continue to Geghard Monastery, a 13th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in the cliffs. Partially carved into the rock face, the monastery stuns with its peaceful setting, echoing chambers, and intricate carvings etched into volcanic stone.

Head back to Yerevan in the evening, mind full of myth, history, and the quiet beauty of Armenia’s sacred landscapes.
