A 9 day extraordinary motorbike odyssey, launching from the vibrant heart of Melbourne, where you connect with fellow riders and anticipate the adventures that await. The journey unfurls the next day with a thrilling transfer to Geelong, the gateway to your two-wheeled companions. Roaring along the Great Ocean Road, you'll feel the salty breeze as you ride towards Warrnambool, flanked by the rugged cliffs and iconic Twelve Apostles. Day three brings the Grampians into focus, where every twist and turn reveals sweeping vistas of ancient rock formations and verdant landscapes.

The road beckons again as you rev your engines towards Shepparton, meandering through undulating hills and golden fields. Wodonga follows, offering a picturesque ride along the Murray River, the rhythmic hum of the bike harmonizing with the serene countryside. En route to Lakes Entrance, the landscape transforms, with coastal panoramas accompanying your every turn. Private arrival and departure airport transfers are included in all JrnyOn tours between the airport and the tour hotel. These transfers will be shared with other members of your tour.

Yes, riders will have to be minimum 25 yrs. Pillion riders should be above 12 years old.

We have a range of Royal Enfield's and Benelli Leoncinos. These are 500 - 800 cc motorcycles, comfortable for long travel.

Normally between 8 to 10 riders (and there might be few non riders or sharers too)

Yes, of course. Pillion rides are welcome and they will pay only around 60% of the riders price. Please contact [email protected] if you are bringing along a pillion rider.

Yes, there might be additional insurance costs involved for the second rider.

Australia generally allows driving with your country's license for around 3 months or so. Else, we also encourage participants have to obtain a valid International Driving Permit.

The participants have to bring their riding gears ( jackets, gloves and shoes). We can provide a helmet, but suggest brining that as well.

There is no included activity on the Day 1 of the tour, but we will be meeting at 5pm in the hotel lobby.

You can depart anytime. There are no inclusions on tour on the last day. The hotel check out time is usually 11am or 12noon.

Many of our travellers do travel alone as our JRNYs provide an opportunity to meet and share experiences with like-minded people. We normally pair up solo travellers, but if you would like to have your single room, we offer that. There will be a supplement cost for the single room.

This is a motorbike tour with long days of driving. So on a scale from 1 - 5, a fitness level of 3 would be ideal.

Yes we do have a support vehicle with a mechanic travel with us throughout the ride.

Australians drive on the left hand side of the road. You are required to obtain an International Driving License for being able to ride in Australia. Should the license be written in another language other than English, a certified English translation must be presented as well. Seat belts must be worn at all times. Speed zones should be adhered to as police cameras operate throughout Australia.

There are no mandatory vaccinations required for Australia.

We advise you to check with your local health clinic or doctors a few weeks before your trip for proper recommendations.

The local guides and drivers are an essential part of your tour. It is always a good gesture to reward them with gratuities if you are appreciative of their services. Hotels and restaurants do not add a service charge onto bills. Tipping is at your discretion and at more upmarket hotels it is a general rule to add 10% of the bill for good service. It is not a general custom in Australia to bargain for goods.

Please bring your biking gear for sure. We will provide you with helmets along with the bikes. April is the end of the summer so temperatures can vary. So LAYERING is a great way. If you trap air in several layers of clothing, you have a better chance of staying warm than if you wear one or two very heavy items.

Australia has the opposite seasons than the Northern Hemisphere. The summer months of December to February the weather in the north of the country is very tropical and experiences monsoon weather, whereas in the southern States, it is a very dry heat and generally sunny. Over the winter months between June to August the northern states are very dry whereas the south experiences its wettest periods with snow falling on the highest alpine regions in New South Wales and Victoria. The weather in Australia, Summer (December-February), average temperatures range between 20°C and 35°C. In winter (June-August), the average temperature range is 3°C to 20°C.
